At m3 Studio we offer a variety of low impact resistance group exercise classes incorporating rehabilitative exercise therapy with both clinical Pilates and gym-based resistance formats.

Classes are run by our experienced physiotherapists for up to 6 clients, with all clients following a structured and progressive program of exercises. Classes incorporate a combination of exercises using body weight, hand weights, resistance bands and balls as well as other gym-based equipment. Classes teach correct activation, movement patterns and control of muscles as well as building lower limb strength, pelvic/lumbar stability and core strength.

  • Clinical Pilates

  • Rehab and lifestyle circuit

  • Osteoarthritis (OA) classes (coming Soon)

Classes are 45-50 minutes duration +5-10min setup/packup time.

Class levels

Our classes are not assigned to specific levels. Every class is tailored to the strength, skills and abilities of the individual clients in the class.

The role of the Physiotherapist will be to ensure that every client in every class is working at a level which is not too hard but not too easy to ensure progress is made, and all clients are safe within the class.

The Physiotherapist will progress each individual when you are assessed as safe to progress an exercise and as your strength improves.

Initial Assessment

If you are currently receiving treatment from one of our Physiotherapists they will let you know when you are ready and when it is safe to join our group classes to continue your rehab and/or progress your performance.

If you are new to the practice an initial one on one assessment with one of our Physiotherapists is required to ensure there are no reasons you shouldn’t be doing the classes, and make sure you understand the fundamentals of the class before you begin

Clinical PILATES

Pilates for Pain/ Rehabilitation or General Wellbeing

At M3 We love getting people moving. Led by our experienced Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor Crystal  we offer two clinical Pilates classes both at beginner and intermediate levels. We keep the classes small to make sure everyone is completing the exercises safely and effectively.

We ask if you have never tried Pilates before  to have a 1-on-1  40 minute session prior to starting the group classes. Here you will discuss your goals and what you want to achieve. You will be shown how to find your neutral spine and how to engage your pelvic floors and deep abdominals, along with a few basic moves so you are ready to join the class.

To book you 1-on-1 book with our physiotherapist Crystal Monaghan – phone or BOOK ONLINE

  • Beginner Level Thursday’s @ 12.10pm
