Katie Mortlock
Kia Ora, my name is Katie and I have been a midwife for 29 years. It is more than a job to me and I enjoy the variety that this role brings. What I enjoy most is the relationship that builds over the course of a pregnancy so that we have the opportunity to build a trusting and mutually rewarding connection. I teach Hypnobirth and have seen at first hand the value that this method of birth preparation brings to a couple; the classes are in Whangārei bi-monthly and I limit numbers to 8 couples. I keep my case load small so that I can enjoy the journey with you! I look forward to hearing from anyone needing a midwife that feels I might be the right fit for your whānau. I am part of the M3 midwife team and Ayla Witihira is my team colleague. If you would like to engage with us please email us in the first instance.
